Apple Cheddar Crisp
Ingredients
- Crisp Topping:
- ¾ C All-purpose flour
- ¾ C Rolled oats
- ¼ C Brown sugar
- ⅓ C Butter, soft
- ¾ C Adams Reserve Cheddar, shredded
- ¼ t Kosher salt
- Crisp Topping:
- 3 ea Apples, peeled, cored and cut into ½” wide slices
- ½ C Sugar
- 2 T Lemon juice
- 3 T Butter, cold, cut into pea-size chunks
- 1½ t All-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. Combine all crisp topping ingredients in a mixing bowl and work together with your hands until you can start to form a ball. Crumble into pea size pieces and set aside.
- Combine all filling ingredients in a separate mixing bowl and then spread into the bottom of a buttered 9″x13″ baking dish. Place the crisp topping over the filling and bake for 30-45 minutes or until the crisp is browned and bubbling in the center.
