Cheddar Cheese Sticks

  • Makes approx. 40 - 10 sticks

  • 10 oz Adams Reserve Cheddar, grated
  • 1 ea Egg
  • 1/2 T Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 T Tabasco
  • 1 C All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 T Paprika
  • 3/4 T Salt

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle, combine the Adams Reserve Cheddar cheese, egg, Worcestershire and Tabasco, mix on medium speed until creamy. Add in the flour, salt and paprika and mix again until a sticky dough is formed. Mix for two more minutes. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 375F. On a lightly floured surface take about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into the shape of a drinking straw and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Once all the dough is shaped, bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and keep in an airtight container.
